Beany Macaroni

Ingredients:

Olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
1 pound hamburger
1 cup uncooked macaroni
1 16 oz. can kidney beans, drained
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
Salt & Pepper

 

Directions:

Cook the macaroni according to package directions; drain.  Meanwhile, brown the chopped onion in a skillet.  Add the hamburger and brown it, breaking it up as it cooks.  Drain off any fat.  Add the hamburger mixture, kidney beans, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper to macaroni.  Stir and simmer for 10-15 until heated through.

Serves: 3-4
