Chocolate Peanut Butter Torte

By Nicole Williford

Ingredients:

1 roll of prepared chocolate chip cookie dough (Pillsbury)
1 1/2 pkg. of cream cheese
1 egg
1/4 cup of sugar
1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups butterscotch chips
3/4 cup peanut butter
Chocolate syrup

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350.  In spring form pan (9 in or 10 in), press the cookie into bottom of pan.  Cook in oven for 9 minutes. Let cool.  Meanwhile, mix egg, cream cheese and sugar in medium bowl.  Once mixed add 3/4 cup of mini chocolate chips.  After cookie crust has cooled for about 15 minutes pour in and spread evenly.  In a microwave safe bowl, melt the butterscotch chips (it takes about 90 seconds).  Stir them to finish the melting and then add the peanut butter and stir.  Pour on top of the cream cheese mixture and spread evenly.  Garnish top with chocolate syrup on top then add the rest of the chocolate chips.  Bake for 35 minutes for 9 in and 30 for 10 in. at 350 degrees.

Cool for half hour and then take the ring off the spring form pan.  Let cool for another hour and place in fridge.

This is very good with Cool Whip and chopped roasted peanuts on top as well.
