Barbecue Sauce (Coffee Recipe)

This is a Family recipe that I don't give to just anyone, but here it is. Give it a chance, my sister came up with it and it is absolutely excellent. I like it best with pork. It was one of Bob's (Ceil's husband) favorites. The secret is the coffee.

Ingredients:

½ c. coffee, brewed
½ c. catsup
¼ c. sugar
2 T. Worcestershire sauce
2 T. vinegar
1 T. dried onion
½ t. salt
Dash pepper

 

Directions:

Mix all ingredients well and pour over or brush onto meat.  Sauce is thin and will thicken on cooking.
