The Best Light and Airy White Bread – Bread Machine Recipe

Ingredients:

1½ cups buttermilk
2 teaspoons butter
3 cups bread flour
1 Tablespoon sugar
¾ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Active Dry Yeast

 

Directions:

Add the above ingredients to your bread machine in the order listed above.  Keep the sugar, salt, and yeast separated from each other when adding.  I make 3 small dents in the flour and put the sugar on one side, the salt on the other side, and the yeast in the middle.  Set your bread machine for a basic 2 pound loaf and let it do its thing!
