This party favorite from the 70s is a great drink to mix up and keep on hand for drop-in visitors around the holidays. You will need a fairly large plastic container with a tight fitting lid to keep it fresh, and you will need adequate freezer storage space. This keeps a very long time so if your guests don't finish it, don't throw it away! This drink is worth the time it takes, you'll love it! |

Ingredients:2 - 6 oz. cans frozen orange juice |
|
Directions:Bring water to a boil and dissolve sugar in it, stirring to be sure that all the sugar melts. Cool slightly. Add other ingredients, stirring well after adding frozen orange juice and lemonade to make sure that they are completely dissolved. Pour into large container and freeze. Serve 2/3 c. slush and 1/3 c. ginger ale. (7UP may be used, but ginger ale is best) Will keep 4-5 weeks. Dip out with large spoon or ice cream scooper when ready to use. |
