Baked Pork Chops
(Delicious served with rice)

Ingredients:

6 Center cut pork chops
1 t. garlic powder
1 t. seasoned salt
2 eggs, well beaten in shallow bowl
½ c. flour
2 c. bread crumbs, Italian seasoned may be used
4 T. veg. oil or olive oil
2 cans condensed mushroom soup (cream of chicken soup may be used)
1 c. milk
2/3 c. white wine

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

1. Rinse chops and pat dry with paper towel. Season with garlic powder and seasoned salt to taste. Dredge the pork chops lightly in flour, dip in the egg, and coat liberally with bread crumbs.

2. Heat oil in skillet and fry chops 5 minutes per side or until breading appears browned. Be very careful not to burn.

3. Transfer chops to 9 x 13 baking dish and cover with foil. Bake for 1 hour. While baking, combine mushroom soup, milk and wine in medium saucepan and warm gently over medium heat. (Optional: If you like mushrooms a lot, you may add some fresh chopped mushrooms to the sauce at this point)

4. After the chops have baked for 1 hour, cover them with the sauce, replace foil, and bake for another 30 minutes.
